Aludium received second prize in the Cycling category of the 2019 eHealth Challenge. The Aludium team covered the second-longest distance in the category for companies with more than a thousand employees. Aludium also picked up third prize in the Daily Activity category of the sports challenge.
The awards were collected on behalf of Aludium by Sergio Jover Lara and Manuel Rodríguez. The ceremony, organised by SportsNet, was held at the National Institute of Safety and Health at Work in Madrid (Spain) on 21 May 2019.
Aludium participated in the 2019 eHealth Challenge along with 60 other companies from 45 different countries. In total, 1,011 teams – representing 10,189 participants – took part in the competition. There were different categories including Daily Activity, Hiking, Running, Cycling, and Swimming. In total, the participants took 906,186,066 steps (the equivalent of covering 1.8 million kilometres). More than €55,000 was raised for different charities.
Aludium is extremely proud of our colleagues who participated this year. We will motivate them to continue practicing sports and to participate in the next sporting challenge and improve their health.
