Aludium Alicante demonstrates the aluminium production process to the Vocational Training students of Cavanilles Secondary Education Institute during the professional open day

14 February 2024. Last Tuesday, 30 January, the Aludium Alicante plant took part, once again, in the professional open days organised by Antonio José Cavanilles Secondary Education Institute located in the city of Alicante. The educational encounter, aimed at students who are taking vocational training courses, aims to inform them about the world of work and the professional opportunities that the industrial sector can offer them once they have completed their studies.

The informative session which allowed the students to discover Aludium’s aluminium production processes, the phases involved in recycling aluminium, as well as the company’s mission and corporate values was led by Igor Cacho, HR Business Partner at Aludium, and José Benito, manager of the Cylinder Grinding department at the Alicante plant. Furthermore, machining and maintenance were explained in depth since most of the young attendees were studying in this professional field.

The open days were very encouraging for both the speakers and the students. Aludium frequently cooperates and takes part in these activities with other social bodies and education centres in the communities in which it is located to generate social value. Being close to the youngest talent and communicating our corporate values and the professional opportunities the industrial sector, in general, and in particular, Aludium, can offer, are part of our social policy.
