Aludium Eco will be expanding this year with ‘Closed Loop’, a new low-emissions product range, thanks to its high percentage of recycled aluminium

    February 5, 2026. Aludium will in late 2026 be launching ‘Closed Loop’, a new, innovative product range with a high percentage of recycled aluminium. This new range of alloys will form part of the Aludium ECO family. The first to be released to market will be the AA5657 alloy, used for cosmetic applications and also in automotive trim.

    The new ‘Closed Loop’ products represent a key milestone in the pursuit of low-emissions solutions (<1t CO2/t Al shipped ‘without primary aluminium’) thanks to the use of genuine ‘Closed Loop’ recycling with our clients. The first-class treatments and practices of the High Purity unit installed at the company’s foundry mean that the metal in the AA5657 ‘Closed Loop’ alloy will be premium quality, since despite being secondary metal, it offers exactly the same performance characteristics as primary aluminium.
