June 9, 2025. ALUDIUM, sponsor of the Aludium Lucentum women’s first basketball team, paid tribute last Thursday to the outstanding season achieved by the outfit coached by Pablo Portilla. At a family-focused event held on the premises of Red Pádel Alicante, company and Lucentum executives, players and coaching staff gathered to bring the sporting year to an end and pay homage to the squad.
Alfredo Callejón, manager of the ALUDIUM plant in Alicante, Luis Rico, manager of the Supply and Shipments chain, Javier Peña, manager of the Foundry , and Conchi Castelló, human resources manager, were on hand to represent Aludium, showing their support for the players and sharing with them the experiences built up over the course of a season of growth and belief.
Lucentum Alicante’s president, Daniel Adriasola, offered his thanks during the event for the support provided by ALUDIUM “allowing us to grow and establish this section”. “We began a few years ago with our women’s team, and by next season will have ten teams,” explained Mr. Adriasola, expressing his wish that “the partnership between ALUDIUM and Lucentum will last for many years, allowing us to continue sharing such thrilling seasons as we have seen this year”.
For his part, Alfredo Callejón, manager of the ALUDIUM plant in Alicante, congratulated the players on their season, asserting that “for ALUDIUM as a company it is a source of pride to share the values you have represented in every game: hard work, togetherness, dedication, values that both our institutions share”.
ALUDIUM handed the team’s captains a commemorative plaque and gave out gifts to all the players and coaching staff. Lucentum also had merchandising material signed by the players to give to the ALUDIUM executives and their families.
