14 February 2023. Based on our commitment to contribute positively to our communities, Aludium’s Alicante plant has started the year by taking part in the professional conferences about Vocational Training courses organised by Cavanilles Secondary Education Institute, located in the Spanish province of Alicante. Here at Aludium, within our sustainability policy, we actively cooperate with the educational and social community in our areas of influence. Playing an active role in meetings such as these professional conferences is a great opportunity to bring our business’s vision and values closer to the new generations of professionals.
The conference took place last Tuesday, 31 January at the education centre in order to show students real and practical cases of companies related to fields in which they are receiving training. Those in charge of sharing Aludium’s activity and its vision were Igor Cacho, HR Business Partner, and Laura Rodriguez, Engineering Projects, and Infrastructure Maintenance Manager. During the talk, highlighting the production process of aluminium recycling, the innovation, quality and safety of our products, as well as the sustainability strategy that permeates – due to its transversality – all company processes and departments. On the other hand, and more specifically, the field of maintenance was addressed and dealt with in depth since most of the students attending the session were from this professional sphere. The experience of discovering the talent and motivations of the young students was very enriching and the feedback from the students very positive.
We will continue to cooperate in different activities with the educational community to bring the world of industry closer to young students.
