December 16, 2025. 2025 will be ending in just a few weeks, but first of all the Aludium pre-Christmas agenda is full of moments and events to celebrate. This year we once again mark the festive season with our children’s charity Christmas card competition for the sons and daughters of our employees. The winners this time were:
- In the age 0-6 category: CARLOTA MARTINEZ MATEOS (AGE 5).
150 euro donation to the National Pulmonary Hypertension Association (ANHP), one of the groups of rare diseases affecting children and adults.
- In the age 7-11 category: KAYLA BARROSO PALENZUELA (AGE 10).
Donación 150 euros a ASPANOVAS Asociación de padres y madres de niños, niñas y adolescentes con cáncer de Bizkaia.
Here at Aludium we are grateful for the creativity and involvement of the children entering the contest. The 150 euro prize in each category was donated to the organizations chosen by the winners: the National Pulmonary Hypertension Association (ANHP) and ASPANOVAS, the Biscay Association of Parents of Children and Teenagers with Cancer.
For a more sustainable tomorrow
We look ahead to 2026 with commitment and responsibility, aware that every action plays its part in building a more sustainable future. Thank you for helping us sow the seeds of a green, social and circular present, with our perspective on protecting the health of the planet and progressing towards a fairer, more inclusive and egalitarian society for future generations. In line with this commitment, Aludium has donated the budget set aside for gifts to our clients to the association Nazaret Alicante, which assists children and families at risk of social exclusion in Alicante.
In a similar spirit of solidarity, at our Amorebieta site we continue to promote the 11th Charity Rally held by the Amorebieta-Etxano Association for the Integration of People with Disability, A.I.D.A.E., which will take place on December 28. Aludium makes its contribution in the form of advertising coverage in the pages of the magazine Kantarranas in December and January, a logo on the race numbers on the doors of all the vehicles taking part, and posters advertising the organization at race paddocks and points of interest.
Moments of celebration
At Aludium we are getting in the mood for the festivities with activities to be enjoyed by all the family, and tributes to members of our staff. December 10 saw the children’s party with games and elf workshops for the younger ones, and for the first time this year, a festive cookie decorating workshop organized by AUSOLAN.
During this activity the children were given a charity gift at all the plants, this year courtesy of the association APSA. A special Christmas menu has also been devised, and we will once again see some of our team celebrating Christmas with a smile on their faces as they take part in ‘Ugly Sweater Day’. We have likewise launched another initiative, decorating the Christmas tree with baubles containing messages and creations personalized by members of staff and their families, entitled ‘Decorate your transparent bauble’.
Meanwhile, on December 18, Amorebieta will be the venue for the official annual Dedication Awards ceremony. This year the winners will be some 20 workers who have been at the company for 20 years now, and will receive a commemorative wristwatch from Aludium Management. The much-anticipated Christmas party for employees’ children will be held on December 19, with a magician paying a visit, along with games and snacks for those attending.
