Last May 19th 210 employees and their relatives of Aludium Amorebieta participated in the event and each one brought a kg of food that has been donated to the Food Bank of Bizkaia.
The company will multiply by four the collected amount and will donate it to the Food Bank of Bizkaia. This initiative will enable the company to donate a total amount of 2550 kg of food that will be finally for the needy people of the region of Bizkaia.
Estibaliz Martiartu, Amorebieta town councilor of Economy and Employment attended the event, and the Red Cross also collaborated, as well as the Cycling Club Urgozo and the Athletics Club Extrem of Amorebieta.
The sports event was divided in three categories: a walk of 5 km where both children and adults participated, a 8km running race and a 15km MTB race.
This initiative has a double goal: to celebrate a fraternization event with all employees and their relatives through a sports event and the invitation to participate in a solidary activity, donating 2550kg of food to the Food Bank of Bizkaia. Thank you all the participants for your support!
