The players of Aludium Lucentum visit our Alicante Plant to close out the season

    • The season finished with a team building activity held in the Pedro Ferrándiz Pavilion, where Aludium workers and their families enjoyed a day of fun and sports.

    ALICANTE 03/07/2024. The players of Aludium Lucentum visited the facilities of Aludium, the team’s main sponsor, after finishing the season. The players on the club’s top-tier team thanked Aludium for its efforts and commitment to women’s and grassroots sports, as well as its commitment to promoting gender equality in the community. The team was received by the company’s CEO, Lionel Chapis, and the director of the Alicante plant, Alfredo Callejón, who accompanied the players during their visit to the factory and gave a detailed explanation of the manufacturing and transformation process of aluminum, as well as the cutting-edge technologies that Aludium uses to create the alloy and surface for all applications. Aludium Lucentum presented the executive management team with a shirt signed by all the players, with the president of Lucentum Alicante, Daniel Adriasola, also in attendance.

    Aludium and Lucentum Alicante closed out their first year of collaboration with a team building session in the Pedro Ferrándiz pavilion, where employees and their families enjoyed a day of fun and sports in an activity included in the company’s Sustainability project. The Aludium workers and their children participated in a training session with the players and coaches, experiencing first-hand on the court what it’s like to be a professional player and feeling the sporting values that Lucentum transmits to each of its teams. 

    Promoting equality and women’s sports

    The president of Lucentum Alicante, Daniel Adriasola, thanked Aludium for its support and commitment in this first season as the main sponsor of its women’s team: “We’re grateful and proud of Aludium’s commitment, its involvement in the day to day work and the affection that it’s shown us. Aludium’s support is vital for the team to grow and achieve the goals we’ve set in the medium term. The balance could not be more positive and we’re sure that we’ll go even further.”

    CEO Lionel Chapis expressed his satisfaction with the goals achieved during this alliance, which represent a significant step on the company’s path to promote gender equality in society and in sports. “Aludium is a company that is committed and responsible to its staff, to the communities in which it operates and to the rest of its stakeholders. The actions carried out during this season have generated a positive social impact and reaffirm the promotion of women’s sports and gender equality, both inside and outside the company, as one of Aludium’s top social priorities,” said the CEO.
