1 December 2023. Falling within the scope of the company’s Diversity and Inclusion activities, on 24 November, Aludium’s Human Resources team took part in the ‘IV Employment Encounter aimed at people with functional diversity’, organised by the Economic and Social Development Agency of Alicante City Council. It was held in the Town Hall square and Puerta Ferrisa assembly hall. The event, which this year had doubled its participants, brought together more than 30 companies and entities to promote the incorporation of this population group into the employment market.
Throughout the day, Aludium actively took part by giving advice and motivating people with functional diversity, as well as providing guidance in searching for employment. The event was opened by Luis Barcala, Mayor of Alicante, and Mari Carmen de España, Councillor for Employment and Development of Alicante City Council. The experience was “Very productive and enriching due to the exchange of impressions, the creation of alliances with other entities and discovering programmes and people working in the field of the incorporation of people with disabilities into the employment market”, claimed Conchi Castelló, HR Manager of Aludium Alicante and Elena Poveda, Human Resources Specialist of Aludium Alicante concluded, “We continue to work on behalf of the company in the social field to build a more inclusive, egalitarian and diverse society.”.
